Prior to establishing RJC, Russ was a Senior Vice President with a well-known Manhattan legal recruiting firm. Before becoming a recruiter, Russ was a Manhattan litigation partner. Earlier in his career, Russ served for more than a decade as a federal prosecutor, including both as an Assistant United States Attorney and as a Trial Attorney with the Fraud Section of the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining the Justice Department, Russ spent several years as an associate at a major law firm. Russ began his legal career as a law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, after graduating from Harvard Law School.
